Tour Plan

Day 1 – ARRIVE AMRITSAR (3.05 HRS FLIGHT)
Meals
  • Arrive at Amritsar airport.
  • After collecting your baggage, meet your driver at the arrival hall.
  • Transfer to hotel and check in.
  • After fresh up, transfer to Wagah Border to witness the Retreat Ceremony.
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Meals: Dinner.
Day 2 – AT AMRITSAR
Meals
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart for the sightseeing of Amritsar city covering Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, etc.
  • Spend your evening exploring the local market of Amritsar.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 3 – AMRITSAR – DALHOUSIE (via KHAJJIAR) (250 KMS / 7 - 8 HRS)
Meals
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check out and transfer to Dalhousie. Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor-General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation—pines, dodders, oaks, and flowering rhododendron.
  • En route visit Khajjiar, which is 24 km from Dalhousie and surrounded by thick Deodar forest. The drive from Khajjiar to Dalhousie is awesome.
  • Arrive in Dalhousie and check in at the hotel.
  • Day free at leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Dalhousie.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 4 – DALHOUSIE – CHAMBA (via CHAMERA LAKE) (80 KMS / 2 HRS)
Meals
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check out and have a small sightseeing tour of Dalhousie town covering Panjipura and Subhash Baoli.
  • Drive to Chamba via Chamera Lake Dam on Ravi River.
  • Arrive in Chamba and check in at the hotel.
  • After freshen up, depart for local sightseeing to visit Sui Mata Mandir, Champavati Temple, Bhuri Singh Museum, etc.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Chamba.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 5 – CHAMBA – DHARAMSHALA (130 KMS / 5 HRS)
Meals
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check out and transfer to Dharamshala. Dharamshala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra. It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as The Little Lhasa in India.
  • Arrive in Dharamshala and check in at the hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 6 – AT DHARAMSHALA
Meals
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart for the local sightseeing of Dharamshala, which includes His Holiness Dalai Lama's residence at McLeodganj, War Memorial, Bhagsunath Temple, and Dal Lake.
  • Spend your evening in the local market.
  • Arrive back at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.

  • Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (to be borne by the client, who is directly payable on the spot).
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Monument entry fees.
  • Any cost pertaining to Covid-19 tests, quarantine cost, etc.
  • Any insurance, medical expenses, etc.
  • Camera charges at monuments/temples.
  • GST @ 5%.

Tour Info

  • Estive will not be liable for any decision by the consulate or Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
  • Maximum 3 adults allowed per room. As a third person in a triple room, most of the hotels use roll-away beds, and room size may be the same as the double room.
  • Additional supplements on account of fuel hikes, as and when received, would be applicable with immediate effect.
  • Once an air ticket is issued, a date change penalty will be applicable. Check with our Sales Officer for the applicable charges.
  • The rights to vary, amend, alter, or withdraw any itinerary, departure, or excursion rest entirely with the company. Due to airline demand, the in/out points may change. However, service will remain unchanged.
  • Indian dinners and local meals are pre-set, and a-la carte is not possible.
  • Any damage caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay shall be borne by the concerned passengers.
  • The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, or irregularity that may occur in carrying out the tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, threat of war, quarantine, or any other cause. All such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
  • The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of trains, airplanes, buses, ships, or any other services.
  • The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible, as in some cities, coaches are restricted.
  • On days when certain attractions, sights, monuments, museums, etc. are closed, the tour manager reserves the right to amend the itinerary/cancel the visit.
  • There are no refunds for any services such as meals, sightseeing, etc. not utilized on your tour.
  • The flight change/cancellation fees vary based on airline rules and currency conversion rates. For exact cancellation/change fees, please call us.
  • Partly utilized tickets and No-Show tickets cannot be cancelled.
  • Flight seat guarantee: Subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Domestic tickets are completely non-refundable.
  • Standard check-in time at the hotel is 1400hr-1500hrs, and check-out time is 1000hrs-1200hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability, and the hotel might charge extra for it.

  • Children aged 12 years or above are fully charged by the hotel.
  • Refunds shall be processed within 20 working days from the date of request receipt.
  • Coaches used for transfers & sightseeing will be provided only as per itinerary and not at disposal.
