TRANSPORT IN SINGAPORE
Whatever your preferred method of transportation, Singapore's enormous and well-integrated network of
roads, trains, buses, and taxis makes travel easy and efficient. With more covered pathways, park links,
and initiatives towards a car-lite city, walking, cycling, and other environmentally friendly modes of
transportation are made easier.
The Causeway and the Second Link are the two bridges that connect Singapore with Malaysia. A
significant aviation centre in Asia is the Singapore Changi Airport. Singapore is renowned for having
one of the busiest transshipment ports in the world.
The public transport in Singapore is one of the best in the world and is super convenient and
well-linked. Almost every point of attraction is connected by train, bus or taxi. Connections aside the
major tourist spots are built at a walkable distance with sheltered walkways.

Universal Studios Singapore
Theme park Universal Studios Singapore is housed within Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore's Sentosa
Island. In seven themed zones, there are 28 rides, performances, and attractions. One of the six
Universal Studios theme parks worldwide, it has six attractions.
pUniversal Studios Singapore, Southeast Asia's first Hollywood movie theme park, offers a tantalising
array of attractions, rides, and other forms of entertainment for both families and thrill-seekers. In
fact, the Singapore park's 18 out of 24 movie-themed attractions were specifically created for it.
SENTOSA ISLAND
The Merlion, Universal Studios, Gardens by the Bay, S.E.A Aquarium, and Adventure Cove Waterpark—all a
part of Resorts World Sentosa—are frequented by first-time visitors to Singapore. Families are drawn to
the Sentosa island by the typical dazzle on show, and travellers make it a point to visit while in
Singapore. You can purchase Sentosa Fun passes based on how many attractions and activities you want to
participate in. Once you're done with the theme parks, you can also tour a slightly more tranquil area
of the island. Siloso, Tanjong, or Palawan beaches are great places to unwind.
JURONG BIRD PARK
An aviary and tourist destination, Jurong Bird Park is located in Jurong, Singapore. The western slope
of Jurong Hill, which is the highest point in the Jurong area, is where the bird park is located. It has
a total area of 0.2 square kilometres.
Its a Specialty zoo in Singapore known for its huge aviaries is the Jurong Bird Park. The park, which
is run by a government-owned organisation, debuted in 1971. It is located on a 20 hectare (48 acre)
property on Jurong Hill, which is roughly 24 kilometres (15 miles) from the centre of Singapore. A
2-hectare (5-acre) free-flight aviary is the park's most impressive display, and there are also many
additional aviaries there. Around 3,000 birds from more than 300 different species are kept in the park.
Numerous parrot, pheasant, hornbill, birds-of-paradise, and other species—mostly from Southeast
Asia—breed there in groups. A trackless tram takes guests on a tour of the aviaries, and the exhibits
are made to blend in with the verdant surroundings.
GO ON THE SINGAPORE FLYER
Take a ride on the Singapore Flyer, which is reputed to be the biggest observation wheel in the world,
if you don't have a phobia of heights. With a height of 165 metres, the Singapore Flyer provides some
breathtaking views both during the day and at night. The Singapore River, Marina Bay, Empress Place, and
Raffles Place are just a handful of the sights you can see. If you happen to be in Singapore, you must
not miss this incredibly wonderful event.
GARDENS BY THE BAY
You may find these breathtaking buildings that like something out of a sci-fi movie right in the middle
of Singapore. These amazing Supertree constructions, which are a part of Grounds by the Bay, are joined
by a skyway that lets visitors take a skywalk that overlooks the gardens. The Flower Dome, which is
currently the largest glass greenhouse in the world, is a greenhouse that is also designed like a
seashell. The conservatories, gardens, and super trees are amazing.
CHINATOWN
Chinatown, with its historical red lanterns, authentic and delectable Chinese cuisine, conventional
stores and temples, and much more, is the place to go for a vibrant glimpse at contemporary Chinese
culture in Singapore. It's simple to lose oneself in the manicured chaos of ceremonies and cultural
artefacts, and it's even simpler to forget that you're in contemporary Singapore. Another major draw is
food, particularly the delicious, affordable, and diverse street food.
WEATHER IN SINGAPORE
Singapore's climate is characterised by consistent temperature and pressure, high humidity, and a lot
of rain because to its location and exposure to the sea. Between 25 to 31 degrees Celsius are the
typical temperatures. 40% of the time, there are thunderstorms. The relative humidity is between 70 and
80 percent. The hottest month is April, the coldest month is January, and the wettest month is November.
BEST TIME TO VISIT SINGAPORE
The best time to visit Singapore is during the months of February to April. During this time the
temperature ranges from 24°C to 32°C. The duration between this month can be termed as the peak season
to visit Singapore. Tourists can experience beautiful weather during this time along with the
festivities of Chinese New Year, Singapore International Jazz Festival (March), Affordable Art Fair and
World Gourmet Summit (April). All these festivals make February to April an ideal time to visit
Singapore. However, it is often considered as a year-round destination since there is little or
negligible variation in the temperature. Singapore sees the highest number of tourists from December to
June as it is an appealing time to visit Singapore, both in terms of festivals and weather.
There is no particular monsoon season in Singapore. Rainfall is unpredictable and can occur even every
day during the late evenings. However, the months from December to March and June to September see the
maximum rainfall in Singapore.

Indian citizens with active Indian passports are eligible to apply for Singapore visas.
Anyone wishing to visit Singapore for tourism purposes can apply for a visa through Visa Lounge. It is
not possible to apply for a visa through the Visa Lounge if you are looking for work in Singapore.
