JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 1 SEOUL
Meals
- After reaching Seoul, we will board a bus to get to the hotel and later head out for the tour.
- At the conclusion of the afternoon, we will explore the city with our guide on the state-of-the-art underground transit (learn how to use this mode of public transit) to City Hall, where we will witness the tsunami-shaped building.
- We will also visit Deoksugung Palace, which is illuminated at night, allowing us to enjoy both the tradition and modernity of Korea. The palace is located in front of City Hall.
- From Deoksugung Palace, we will walk to Myeongdong, the biggest and busiest shopping area in Korea, known as the "beautiful tunnel."
- The day includes an evening meal at a nearby restaurant.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Full Day in Cairo – Pyramids, Museum, and Khan El Khalili
Meals
- After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a five-hour long trip of Seoul.
- Visit Changdeokgung Palace, a World Heritage Site made up of several palaces located inside a large park.
- After the palace tour, head to Bukchon Hanok Village, a historic neighborhood known for its traditional modest homes.
- Visit the Military Memorial, a spectacular museum documenting Korea's military history, with a focus on the Korean War and its international involvement.
- Explore the bustling Gangnam neighborhood, one of the busiest areas in the city, offering a wide range of retail and entertainment options.
- The journey concludes at the 550-meter-tall LOTTE WORLD TOWER. You can visit the observation deck, explore the park, or shop in the upscale areas (admission is not included).
- Lunch will be provided at a nearby restaurant.
- Transfer to the hotel and enjoy your free time.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 3 SEOUL - SUWON - JEONJU

- Today, we start with a visit to the majestic, 600-year-old Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, where the Changing of the Guard ceremony will take place (if scheduled).
- After the palace visit, we proceed to Suwon, the former capital of Korea, recognized as a World Heritage Site for its impressive walls, which are part of Humanity's Cultural Heritage.
- Visit the Samsung Innovation Museum to learn more about this prominent electronics company's history. If this visit is not possible, we will visit Samsung D'Light instead.
- Next, we visit the summer palace, Hwaseong Haenggung, to admire the magnificent walls and their defensive structures.
- Lunch is provided at a nearby restaurant.
- We continue our journey to Jeonju, where we will explore its intriguing old town (Hanok Village), known for its traditional houses, small residences, local stores, and art galleries.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 4 JEONJU - HAEINSA - DAEGU - BUSAN

- Today, we arrive at Haeinsa, a Buddhist temple located amidst stunning mountain forest scenery. Built in 802, the temple houses the Tripitaka, the largest collection of Buddhist texts, engraved on 80,000 blocks of wood.
- Visit the Haeinsa Temple and its museum while learning about the Tripitaka and its historical significance.
- Travel on to Daegu, where we stop at the Market of Traditional Medicine, which offers a variety of herbs, including ginseng, as well as the Museum of Oriental Medicine.
- Lunch is included at a nearby restaurant.
- Arrive in Busan, Korea's second-largest and most populated city.
- Spend some time exploring the lovely Doosan Haeundae complex, which features a tower that rises more than 300 meters and a sports marina.
- Transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 5 BUSAN - FERRY BUSAN SHIMONOSEKI

- Travel to Busan to visit the Buddhist temple Haedong Yonggung, situated by the lake and dating back to the 14th century.
- Visit the United Nations Memorial and Cemetery, which contains burials from many different countries.
- Approach Nampo Port, with views of the largest fish market in the nation nearby.
- Lunch included.
- Proceed on foot to Yongdusan Park, home to a massive 120-meter pagoda.
- Afternoon off to explore or relax.
- In the evening, depart on a ferry at 21:00, traveling across the Sea of Japan in a double cabin with a bathroom.
- Note: On rare occasions, a fast boat will depart from Busan at 15:30 due to the ferry's limited ability to carry double cabins, arriving in Fukuoka around 18:30.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Fukuoka.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 6 FERRY BUSAN SHIMONOSEKI - SHIMONOSEKI - IWAKUNI - ITSUKUSHIMA - HIROSHIMA

- At Shimonoseki's port, cross the border around 8:00 a.m. (breakfast not included).
- Continue to Iwakuni, a small village, where we stop to see the magnificent Kintai-Kyo Bridge.
- Proceed to Miyajimaguchi, then take a ferry to Miyajima, the island "where men and gods live together in harmony" and the location of the partially submerged Itsukushima Shrine dedicated to the sea protector.
- Ample time to explore the temple and wander around the quaint town center.
- Lunch included.
- Travel to Hiroshima, extremely well-known for being the site of the atomic bomb detonation in 1945 that completely destroyed the city.
- Visit the impressive Peace Memorial Museum, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and the Peace Memorial Park.
- Dinner included.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Hiroshima.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 7 HIROSHIMA - MATSUYAMA

- Travel by ferry to Shikoku Island, spending two and a half hours seeing the numerous islands that make up Japan.
- Take the cable car to reach the stunning Matsuyama Castle.
- Visit the renowned Buddhist temple and shrine, Ishiteji.
- In the late afternoon, visit Dogo Onsen, a nineteenth-century traditional Japanese bathhouse (entry is free).

JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 8 MATSUYAMA - KOTOHIRA - TAKAMATSU - NARUTO - KOBE

- Depart towards Kotohira, a well-liked pilgrimage site in honor of the God of Sailors and a Shinto shrine. To reach the shrine on Mount Zosu, ascend 785 stairs.
- Visit Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu, one of Japan's most exquisite gardens.
- Lunch included.
- Travel to Naruto, crossing a stunning sea bridge. Stop along the way to admire the structure and walk on the glass floor with the water 45 meters below.
- Enjoy views of beautiful agriculture and extensive coastline bridges connecting islands along the route.
- Arrival in Kobe, with an overnight stay at the hotel.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 9 KOBE - OSAKA - MOUNT KOYA

- Visit the Kobe Earthquake Memorial Museum, which honors the devastating 1995 earthquake and the city’s remarkable reconstruction. On specific days, the Sake Museum or a climb up the Kobe Tower may replace the Earthquake Museum visit.
- Travel to Osaka, then proceed to Mount Koya, one of Japan's holiest mountains and the principal Shingon Buddhist center, home to 120 shrines and monasteries.
- Visit the Okuno Mausoleum, a large, remote cemetery with over 200,000 graves.
- Explore Kongobuji Temple, built in 1593.
- Participate in a Zen meditation (Ajikan) at a Buddhist monastery, followed by a vegetarian dinner included.
- If you choose, attend an early morning religious service at the temple.
- Stay overnight in the monastery, experiencing a profound existential journey. Rooms are small, traditional Japanese-style with tatamis; public restrooms are available, but rooms do not have private bathrooms.
JAPAN AND KOREA TOUR PACKAGE - DAY 10 MOUNT KOYA - KYOTO

- This morning after Japanese's breakfast at the temple we leave early for KYOTO, where we shall stay all day. Between 794 and 1868, KYOTO, where the Imperial Court is situated, served as Japan's capital. Kyoto's rich creative heritage has survived since it was the only important Japanese city to escape bombing during World War II. The renowned Kyoto Protocol reducing greenhouse gas emissions was ratified in 1997. One of the city's most significant neighbourhoods is visited during the tour.
- Later we will take a tour of the Imperial Palace, the magnificent Kinkakuji temple, popularly called "the golden pavilion," the Shinto shrine of Fushimi Inari, and its wonderful gardens. Before visiting GION, a lively traditional area well-known for its geisha, take advantage of some free time. Note: If Kyoto was a stop on your tour, our guide will provide you tips and information about exploring the rest of the city on your own.

Tour Info
- Estive will not be liable for any decision by the consulate or Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
- Maximum 3 adults allowed per room. As a third person in a triple room, most hotels use roll-away beds, and room size may be the same as the double room.
- Additional supplements on account of fuel hikes, as and when received, will be applicable with immediate effect.
- Once an air ticket is issued, a date change penalty will be applicable. Check with our Sales Officer for the applicable charges.
- The rights to vary, amend, alter, or withdraw any itinerary, departure, or excursion rest entirely with the company. Due to airline demand, the in/out points may change. Services, however, will remain unchanged.
- In group packages, arrival and departure sectors may change due to availability of flights.
- For group sizes of 20 passengers and below traveling together, a driver-cum-guide will be provided. For groups of 20 passengers and above, separate driver and guide will be provided.
- Itinerary is subject to change due to operational constraints, if any.
- Indian dinners and local meals are pre-set, and a-la-carte is not possible.
- Any damage caused to hotel rooms or coaches during your stay shall be borne by the concerned passengers.
- The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, or irregularity that may occur while carrying out the tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, threat of war, quarantine, or any other cause whatsoever. All such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
- The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship, or any other services.
- The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible, as in some cities, coaches are restricted.
- On days when certain attractions, sights, monuments, museums, etc., are closed, the tour manager reserves the right to amend the itinerary or cancel the visit.
- There are no refunds for any services, i.e., meals, sightseeing, etc., not utilized on your tour.
- The flight change/cancellation fees vary based on airline rules and currency conversion rates. For exact cancellation/change fees, please do call us.
- Partly utilized tickets and no-show tickets cannot be cancelled.
- Flight seat guarantee: Subject to availability at the time of booking.
- Domestic tickets are completely non-refundable.
- Standard check-in time at the hotel is 16:00 hrs and check-out time is between 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability, and the hotel may charge extra for this.

- Children aged 12 years or above are fully charged by the hotel.
- Refunds will be processed within 20 working days from the date the request is received.
- The coach used for transfers, processing, and sightseeing will be provided only as per the itinerary and not at disposal.
- Rooms in Europe are standard rooms, and they are very small.
